Effective October 2026

Privacy

This site collects only what you type into the contact form. It is used to reply to you and, if we work together, to run your project. It is never sold.

Who this covers

Siltstone Studio LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("I", "me"). It covers this website and the way I handle information from people who contact me or hire me.

What the contact form collects

  • Your name and email address
  • Your business name and current website, if you give them
  • The package you are interested in and when you want to start
  • How you want to be contacted, and your phone number only if you choose a phone call
  • Anything you write in the "What you need" box

The quote estimator runs in your browser. Nothing you pick in it is sent anywhere unless you submit the contact form.

How it is used

To reply to you, prepare a quote, and, if you hire me, deliver and support your project. I do not send marketing emails or newsletters, and I do not sell, rent or trade your information.

Services that handle it

I use a small number of providers to run the business. Each only receives what it needs:

Netlify
Hosts this site and stores contact form submissions. Like any web host, it processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
Google Workspace
Runs my email and the upload links clients use to send me files.
Stripe
Sends invoices and takes payment. Your card and bank details go to Stripe, never to me.
Google Meet
Video calls, when you choose one.
Adobe Acrobat
Signing the Client Services Agreement.

I may also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ads or tracking. Its fonts, images and videos are served from this site, not from a third party.

Sample builds

The sample sites under /work/ are demos of the kind of site I build. Some load fonts from Google Fonts or show an embedded Google Map, so opening one sends a request to Google, which may set its own cookies. The main pages load nothing from Google.

How long I keep it

Inquiries that do not turn into a project are deleted within 12 months. Client records, such as agreements and invoices, are kept as long as tax and business record rules require.

Your choices

Email me to ask what I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. I will reply within 2 business days and finish the request within 30 days, except for records I am required to keep.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. I do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
